FAQs

Apologia is doing a retreat!  I thought you just did science?

Apologia still does science.  It is the core of what we have done and will continue to do.  Apologia was purchased by Davis and Rachael Carman (News) and as part of their vision for Apologia we will be expanding to include other areas of interest and help for homeschoolers.  One new area is live events.  The Apologia Live Retreat for homeschool moms was the first of these offerings.

Who should come to the retreat?

Any woman who could use encouragement.  This includes women who homeschool and those who don’t, although it is targeted at homeschool moms.

Will I learn about the mechanics of homeschooling at the retreat? What Are The Nuts and Bolts Sessions?

In the Nuts and Bolts pre-Retreat event we will talk about practical aspects of homeschooling.  Please look at our Schedule Page to look over the subjects we will cover.

During the Live Retreat, we will not necessarily. address these issues.  Our primary purpose is to encourage and support homeschool moms in their personal walk with Jesus Christ and not necessarily a "how to" event.  The speaking sessions and praise and worship sessions centered on spiritual encouragement.  That being said, we will have local and national resources to help answer your questions about the support systems that are in place to help you with homeschooling questions.

I would like to have one of your speakers come and speak to my group.  How can I get in touch with them?

Please e-mail or call 765-608-3288 extension 234.
