Before God & These Witnesses: A Look at Marriage (Introduction)

Just a few months after he bought the company, Davis Carman offered me a part-time job while I finished my studies in seminary. I was somewhat new to the homeschooling world and had never worked for a curriculum publisher. I've now been with Apologia for three years (graduated and now full-time) and what has surprised me about our company and the homeschooling world at large is that the emphasis on education is couched within a reverence for family. To say it another way, we are pro-education because we are pro-family; as I look at what we publish and do, I see that message everywhere.

When I recently got engaged* and started doing a lot more marriage reading. Considering how much we are for building the family which serves as the framework for home education, I proposed we do a series on marriage addressing some of my recently-read books. The idea caught a little fire and, starting with this post, we will be conversing with you over the next few weeks about marriage. We've teamed up with two of our blogging friends and you'll find the series continued there. Check out their pages, especially when the posts related to this go up! (They'll each be doing giveaways that you don't want to miss!)

Schedule:

9/23/11: The MOB (Moms of Boys) Society: How Can a Mom Raise a Considerate Son?

10/8/11: Hip Homeschool Moms: What Marriage Advice Would CSLewis Give You?

10/11/11: Apologia Live: What Advice Would You Give Each Other (about marriage)?

But wait, we've got a question!
Throughout all of these posts, we are hoping to have some great discussions. Starting with this post:
How long have you been married?

See you soon. I'm off to pack for the honeymoon and practice not locking my knees when I stand at the altar.

If you are in not good state and have no money to go out from that, you will need to take the loan. Because it should aid you emphatically. I take student loan every single year and feel fine just because of it.
